It’s easy to get caught up in the deliciousness of chicha.

The food, it turns out, is actually pretty good.

Here’s how to make a great, delicious chichas in a hurry.

Ingredients 1 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil 1/4 cup chichamere (pepper) juice 1/3 cup chile powder 1/8 teaspoon cumin 1/6 teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon sugar 2 cups water 1/16 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more for sprinkling 1 cup raw avocados 1 tablespoon chichamel sauce 1 teaspoon olive oil, plus extra for serving Directions Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Place the coconut oil in a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan.

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

Remove the chicharron from the heat and pour it into a food processor.

Process for 5 to 7 minutes, or until smooth.

Transfer the chile and cumin to a bowl and season with salt and pepper.

Season with salt, pepper, and lime juice.

Add the avocado to the food processor and pulse until smooth and creamy.

Season to taste with additional salt and vinegar.

Add water if necessary to thin out the mixture.

Pour the mixture into a greased, shallow dish, and set aside.

Place 1 cup of water in the bottom of the dish, pour 1 tablespoon of chcharron sauce into the center, and top with the avocado.

Place a spoonful of the chcharon sauce over the top of the avocado and top it with the remaining 1 cup water.

Place in the oven for 15 minutes, until the chiracha is bubbling and the avocado is just slightly golden.
