The Best Gourmet Pet Food, a website offering reviews of various brands of gourmet, edible and processed food, has been ordered to cease publication and remove links to its website from all its sites.
It says the order will go into effect on December 1.
“I’m really sorry to announce that we have reached an agreement with the RTEs owner Gourmet Cat Food Ltd to cease publishing this website and all associated links,” the company said in a statement.
“We want to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause our readers, and our many loyal customers, in the coming weeks and months.”
The company’s founder, Andrew Broughton, said he had been contacted by the RTVS news channel.”RTE has been very kind in reaching out to us and offering to help with this,” he said.
“But, we need to be careful not to offend any members of the RTR community, and we also need to make sure we have a plan for what happens when this happens.”
It’s a very complicated process, so we will need to take some time to understand it fully, but we are confident that our plan is a good one.
“The RTVD said it would be looking at the issue further and taking steps to ensure it did not happen again.”
The RTE will be looking into this further, and will be reviewing the process and how we handle any future complaints,” it said.
Gourmet Cat Foods has been running on the RtV network since 2002.
It is one of only two online food stores selling food products made from meat, fish, poultry and dairy.
