Chinese woman in India has claimed she lost a whopping $30 million in a Chinese restaurant and food service business after her children vanished in the remote Himalayan region.
According to the claims, the couple were staying at the hotel in Rajasthan’s Gwalior region when they disappeared on January 31.
They had left the hotel at 5.30pm and headed for the village of Thamguru, about 300 kilometres (190 miles) north of Rajasthani city, on the outskirts of the city, when the family left the vehicle, a police statement said.
A search team from the Rajastha police station said the family was not in the vehicle when they left.
The vehicle had been reported stolen and the family had left no description of the vehicle or the people in it, the statement said, adding they did not have any other vehicles with them when they returned.
According for the police statement, the family, which included the husband, three children aged 10, four and 11 years old, had not seen any trace of them.
