In a recent interview, French Chef Philippe Bourdin discussed the future of French cuisine, food safety, and his new career in the industry.
“I think I’m the next big thing,” he said.
“People want to know, how is the food safe?
And I’m saying it’s fine, I’m good.
But if you want to have a proper restaurant, you have to take care of your staff.
And it’s not easy, because I have this great team.
It’s not a normal team, but it’s a really nice team.
I’m proud of it.”
He also talked about his family and how his kids are getting involved in the business.
“My children are doing really good.
They’re a very good professional family, they’re always doing great, and they’re working together,” he explained.
“They’re very, very good friends.
They have a great relationship, and it’s so nice to have them working with me.”
As for the food industry, Bourdin believes the industry is on the right path.
“The food industry is facing a very interesting era.
We have a lot of good people working in the food business.
We are going through a very different period of time, because we are dealing with the global market,” he noted.
“But I’m happy because I feel it’s going in the right direction.
I believe in it.
I know it’s the right thing to do.
And I can’t wait to work with all of you.”
