I’m sitting in a small restaurant in Bangalore.
A crowd of about 30 people has gathered to discuss how to prepare a meal.
I ask for the name of the restaurant, but no one speaks.
Then, I ask if the waiter has any recommendations.
I’ve heard from my friends that this place is one of the best.
But, I don’t know.
I feel confused.
After a moment, the waiter offers a list of his favourites.
He recommends that we order from the gourmet menu.
I am delighted to see the list, which is made up of dishes made from meat.
The chef offers to give me the menu and I give it a go.
I find it interesting that the waiter, who is a vegetarian, has also mentioned vegetarian options.
I’m not a vegetarian myself, but I can’t help but think about the way he makes vegetarian dishes, especially vegetarian curry.
In India, there is no shortage of vegetarian restaurants.
I visited the city last month, and I found a few vegetarian restaurants that I would recommend to people.
I decided to make this vegan curry.
The recipes I used in this curry are from this article.
